The hotel was warm and comfortable, with spotlessly clean, albeit small, rooms. The location, about a 10-minute walk from Largs town centre, was ideal for short bus rides or enjoyable walks along the seafront. The dining was good overall, although the cooked breakfast might be a bit skimpier, so it's recommended to fill up with cereal and toast first. From my childhood memories, it was just outside the town centre where we spent pleasant hours.
